Eurofins Electrical and Electronic Testing NA, LLC (EENA) Warns of Potential Noncompliant Use of the MET Certification Mark on Vacuum Filtration Units, Models AD1500iQ, DP1500iQ, PP1500iQ, V1500iQ, AD1500 iQ2, DP 1500 iQ2, DP 1500 iQ2, PP 1500 iQ2 and V1500 iQ2.
May 20, 2026 – It has come to EENA’s attention that an electrical product is on the market in Ontario, Canada that bears the EENA certification mark (“MET Mark”), but which may be noncompliant with relevant standards/product requirements. This product is intended to provide vacuum filtration to extract solvent fumes per the model numbers listed above, with a rating of 230V, 50/60 Hz, 24A. It bears the manufacturer name Donaldson Filtration (GB) Ltd.
While the above information does not necessarily mean there is a hazard, EENA cannot vouch for this product’s compliance with electrical safety requirements.
The Electrical Safety Authority of Ontario may enforce a product recall. Though we have no reports outside of Ontario, should this product be found in other provinces of Canada or within the United States or other markets, this same notification applies. We encourage reports of use in other regions be sent to EENA.
Lastly, please take note that EENA has approved other Vacuum Filtration Units from this manufacture which are not affected by this notification.
