Each year, the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society hosts a premier symposium which focuses on a number of topics including Compliance, EMC and Wireless, Medical, and Global Market Access. During the symposium, technical information related to product safety is discussed and disseminated to attending product safety and design engineers. This year’s meeting was held from May 6-8 in San Jose, California.
Among this year’s distinguished group of presenters was our very own Michael Chang. Michael is Senior Global Market Access Specialist/Business Development at Eurofins MET Labs. He presented on Korea Market Access for Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Michael also provided an in-depth view of best practices for determining applicable regulations and managing product compliance to achieve market access to Korea.
