Pass Your AHJ Inspection with Confidence

We Help You Meet Local Code Requirements and Avoid Costly Delays.
Ensure your electrical equipment is field evaluated & labeled so your AHJ inspection is a breeze.

Principles

What Is an AHJ Inspection?

An AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) is the entity responsible for enforcing health and safety codes. It could be a city or county official, or it could be the EHS officer within the company to which you are delivering your product.

If your equipment is not listed or certified, it lacks the necessary approval to satisfy OSHA workplace rules and the AHJ may require a field evaluation by an NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) or FEB (Field Evaluation Body).

We help you resolve AHJ inspection issues fast and affordably.

Solutions

Common Scenarios That
Require AHJ Inspection

  • Failed AHJ inspection due to missing UL or NRTL label
  • Installing custom, modified, or imported equipment
  • Moving/installing legacy (built pre-1970) equipment to a new location
  • Installing unlisted devices in new construction
  • Modifying previously-certified equipment (doing so renders the original certification void)
  • Common equipment evaluated: Panels, industrial control systems, generators, lab equipment, automation units, modified switchboards, production equipment
