What Is an AHJ Inspection?

An AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) is the entity responsible for enforcing health and safety codes. It could be a city or county official, or it could be the EHS officer within the company to which you are delivering your product.

If your equipment is not listed or certified, it lacks the necessary approval to satisfy OSHA workplace rules and the AHJ may require a field evaluation by an NRTL (Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory) or FEB (Field Evaluation Body).

We help you resolve AHJ inspection issues fast and affordably.
