Canada
For product safety certification, MET has been accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) as a Certification Body (CB). As a CB, MET provides all the required testing, follow-up inspections and labeling required to sell electrical products in Canada.
Europe CE Mark
MET Labs is experienced and active in testing for 8 directives to support CE marking. Most products can be labeled with the CE marking based upon a manufacturer’s Declaration of Conformity. This declaration must be backed up with test data and a CE test report.
MET Labs has tested thousands of products to support CE Marking Declarations of Conformity for product safety.
International: IEC CB Scheme
MET is a NCB (National Certification Body) in IECEE’s CB Scheme. As a recognized member, MET performs testing and provides an international test certificate which can be used to obtain product safety certification in the participating member countries. There are presently more than 50 countries participating in the scheme.
MET is a recognized member of the IECEE to issue test reports and certificates and also to recognize such reports and certificates from other participating countries.
Asia Pacific
MET maintains an extensive network of international partner labs throughout the world that provides product safety testing on a local level for North American certification. Our partnerships give manufactures the ability to reduce certification costs while improving their time to market.
